Bass Defense Coming August 19th to PC

Developed and published by WOMBEX Games, Bass Defense is coming to PC next month. However, those excited for a rhythm-based tower defense game can play the first five levels for free on July 22nd.

Battle enemies in time with the music. Time your button presses to the beat, and fight and defend your way through 20 unique maps. The game has three difficulty levels: easy, medium, and hard. With each increase in intensity, the game’s rhythm becomes more complex. And the enemies you face grow stronger.

Three’s the musical number

In addition to difficulty, Bass Defense has three modes to play with. In Soundwave mode you’ll focus on the rhythm-based gameplay. Meanwhile, in Overcharge mode you’ll focus more on the tower defense elements. Both those mode have all three difficulty modes, but there’s a hard level only mode: Fingerton. Use one finger to face “a ton” of enemies at a breakneck pace.

Bass Defense’s release date trailer

The trailer looks more than promising, and the music is funky fresh. Currently, only Windows computers can look forward to this unique title. Hopefully if the game’s a success, WOMBEX will be able to release console versions.

Bass Defense is available on PC. It will be released on August 19th, with the demo arriving July 22nd.
