If you’re a fan of retro games, keep your eyes peeled. Over Horizon X Steel Empire is coming to both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. On July 18th, ININ and Mebius are bringing you the previously Japan exclusive titles.

Over Horizon was originally released in 1991 for the NES. Steel Empire was released a year later, for the Sega Mega Drive. In 2004, it was released for the Game Boy Advanced. Hot-B was the developer for both.
Both games are shooters with retro futuristic aesthetics. Over Horizon sends you on a proper sci-fi adventure, complete with your own spaceship. Meanwhile, Steel Empire goes all in on Diesel Punk and offers airplanes and zeppelins to combat the Motorhead Empire.
With these new versions available for modern consoles, and in a whole new language, hopefully these classic games can reach a whole new audience.
Over Horizon x Steel Empire will be available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on July 18th. They retail for $16.32.
