SunnySide, the JRPG farming and life simulator, has just received a major quality of life patch from developers Rainy Games and publisher Merge Games. This update offers something for everyone—whether you’re an enthusiastic builder, an avid miner, or a dedicated farmer.
The Beginning of Our Interior Decorating Journey
Camping was fun while it lasted, but now we’re finally getting our very own starter house. Philip, our resident retired architect, has generously provided us with two starter blueprints: one for a cozy starter house and another for a charming tea house.

Extended Vendor Hours
No more rushing into town only to find closed shop fronts! SunnySide vendors now open earlier in the mornings making it easier to buy everything you need for your busy day. The shop rotation from Oak Tree Grocery is temporarily frozen. Rainy Games is developing a more player-friendly rotation system. In the meantime, this temporary solution will enhance your gameplay experience.
Spelunk Deeper Than Ever Before
Progress is now saved when sleeping in caverns, allowing players to explore deeper than ever. This feature includes fixes for the content in circular caches in Desert caves, a platform added to the sunken cache in cave level 2, and the missing swimming volumes added to cave levels 2 and 4.
And Much More…
This patch brings numerous quality-of-life updates to SunnySide. Enjoy fixes for the socialization system, skill tree, farm animal stations, phone UI, build mode, cooking, and more!
Experience all the new features included in Patch 5 for SunnySide, available today on Steam, Epic Game Store, PlayStation, and Xbox.
