You heard it here first, folks! After two years of Early Access, A Hero’s Rest: An RPG Town Simulator, has a release date! Indie game developer and publisher, Vanargand Games, has finally announced the release of A Hero’s Rest, which will be on October 18th, 2024.

 Alan Kilzi founded Vanargand Games with his wife and partner, Elaine Slodowski. They form the dynamic programming and artistic duo that has crafted A Hero’s Rest from start to finish. This labor of love has seen tremendous growth over the years that it’s been in early access, with numerous updates in direct response to player feedback. Naturally, every inch of the game has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail, leaving no stone unturned to ensure a vibrant and engaging experience for their players.

A Hero’s Rest is Vanargand Games debut release title but certainly not the last. They plan on developing many more cool and exciting games in the future.

Manage Your Town

A Hero’s Rest: An RPG Town Simulator is exactly what it says on the tin. By order of the King, players become the manager of a fantasy town. You have sandbox freedom to build stores and homes to attract people to your village. Adventurers stay at your inn, allowing you to send them on quests. With your town as their home base, you can craft their gear and watch your adventurers grow. By the King’s command, it’s your job to see that they rid the land of the evil that plagues it.

The 1.0 release introduces dynamic seasons and trade routes, as well as a new Wisdom class hero, Weapon Master specializations, and much more.
