Developer Gametopia has partnered with publisher Assemble Entertainment to bring Verne: The Shape of Fantasy to Nintendo Switch. Verne has been dazzling PC players since 2022. With its unique non-linear dialogue and beautiful pixelated environments, there is a lot here for Switch players to look forward to when it releases on August 22, 2024.

Journey to Hemera, an underwater world of fantasy and wonder. A world that exists within the mind of our main character Jules Verne. Travel on a submarine with Captain Nemo on an Atlantian scavenger hunt. Explore your surroundings and solve puzzles in engaging gameplay inspired by classic adventure games. 

Explore a steampunk world and discover secrets and artifacts buried deep within Atlantian Ruins. Use one such artifact, the IMAG, to rewrite history. Change Verne’s fate at specific points to change the course of Verne’s story. Afterall, it is the story that is the heart of Verne: The Shape of Fantasy. Each branching story-path offers a unique gameplay experience in a way that is designed to reflect the human ability to tell fantastical stories reflecting the life and works of Jules Verne.
