From the designers of Magic: The Gathering and Ascension comes a brand new card battler, SolForge Fusion. Justin Gary of MtG and Richard Garfield of ADG, as part of Stone Blade Entertainment, have developed both a hard copy and video game version of SolForge Fusion, now free to play on Steam.

Expertly Designed
SolForge Fusion is a hybrid deck game, where players use uniquely generated ‘fusions’ to outmaneuver their opponents. Start with algorithmically-generated half-decks, printed specifically for you! Battle against your friends online or play a robust roguelite campaign. You will gain cards by defeating competitors, leveling your Forgeborn and your deck. Then, level up your cards to overwhelm your foes. Fuse your different decks together to explore an endless array of strategies!
SolForge Fusion has been designed with physical and digital integration in mind – fusing your gaming experiences. With over ten thousand cards in the first released set alone, you will never run out of possibilities for your collection. And each deck comes with a unique QR code, so you can scan and add that deck to your online games. You can also use those codes to register for tournaments and other community events.

Community Funded
The release of SolForge Fusion was the culmination of a decade of effort pushing the boundaries of what is possible in card battling games. When Justin and Richard first launched the original SolForge as a purely digital experience, it was the first of its kind – a revolution in the genre. It laid the foundation for games like Magic: The Gathering to come online in its digital form, MtG Arena, and other purely online games like Hearthstone. Then, two years ago, they went to Kickstarter to fund their physical version of the newly rebranded SolForge Fusion. Since then, they have sold over a million decks worldwide.
This fan base came in full support when Justin and Richard sought funding on Kickstarter. The game was fully funded just 15 minutes after it was released. By the end of the campaign, they soared over their expectations as SolForge Fusion and The Last Winter booster expansion were funded over 500%. Production was fast, and SolForge Fusion hit Steam Early Access April 16th this year.
While you can’t get in on the Kickstarter any longer, feel free to jump in on the Early Access action. The developers want player feedback, and it’s your chance to give it before the full release in a year’s time. And if you want a physical deck in your hands, check out your local game store. See if they have it in stock!
