Gain Early Access to City 20

Alright apocalypse fans – City 20 has unveiled its release date! Untold Games has announced that City 20, the alternate history sandbox survival game, is coming to Early Access on Steam on the 23rd of September.

We played the demo, and it already looks very promising. The lore is deep and rich with potential conflict, setting up a potential faction war. However, you can also play it as peacefully as you like, just getting to know people and foraging the local woods. You choose your own adventure and the world of City 20 responds to the choices you make. While we couldn’t play more than a few days in the demo, the Early Access release should open up an even wider field of play.

They Want to Hear You

Untold Games decided to take City 20 to Early Access because “the very nature of the project involves adding content to make the experience more complete”. They will have the game in Early Access for a full year at least, looking for player feedback on what you want to see in City 20. If there’s a plot line you didn’t think was fully explored, tell them, and they’ll expand on it. If there’s issues or additions to the crafting system, then Untold Games will handle it. Early Access is an opportunity for you to impact the game’s creative development.

The current Early Access version of City 20 is a sandbox with several biomes and two factions. The key gameplay features are all fully finished. Ongoing efforts include finding and fixing bugs and fine tuning the experience. Community suggestions will be analyzed from the discussion boards on Steam, as well as the Untold Games’ Discord server. While no major updates are currently planned, that can entirely change depending on player feedback. Anything coming up in the future will be announced through Devlogs and community updates.

If you want to get in on the ground floor, then wishlist City 20 to get the latest news.
