What do you get when you combine an emotional tale of self-discovery, a mysterious time loop, and graphics ripped straight out of a comic book? Rue Valley, the debut title from Emotion Spark Studio in partnership with Owlcat Games. In two weeks, we’ve gone from announcement trailer to the first playable alpha available for Humble Choice subscribers, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the progress. 

If you haven’t heard yet, Rue Valley is the story of a man stuck in a time loop as he battles with his own problems. Of course he doesn’t have to go through it alone. Rue Valley is home to a captivating cast of characters, each with their own emotional complexities. Although they are unaware of the anomaly that holds them all captive, you’ll want to experiment with different personalities to learn more about their stories. 

As you get to know the locals, you’ll create memories put into a graph. Over time, you’ll unlock unique interactions and discover new perspectives to help build out the main character. Over time you’ll discover the clues necessary to solving the mystery of the anomaly surrounding the Rue Valley Motel.
