Citizen Sleeper 2 to Launch Next Year

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is the highly anticipated sequel to the acclaimed RPG that captivated players in 2022. Developed by Jump Over The Age and published by Fellow Traveller, this tabletop-inspired adventure invites players into a sci-fi world. You assume the role of a sleeper — an android with a malfunctioning body, a bounty on your head, and a fractured memory.

You must evade the corporation that created you and the gang attempting to control your fate as you navigate the Starward Belt. To carve out a future, you’ll need to commandeer a ship, assemble a crew, and engage in various contracts. However, navigating the Belt is never straightforward, especially with your artificial body in disrepair.

TTRPG Takes Center Stage

Citizen Sleeper 2 encourages you to choose your class and configure your skills, while embracing the unpredictability of the dice. Your decisions and the roll of the dice will significantly impact your journey through this universe. Each character class also introduces a unique “Push” ability, allowing for strategic gameplay that can dramatically influence outcomes. Whether you choose to reroll dice for a second chance or focus on a specific die for a higher reward, your tactical choices will shape your experience.

The Starward Belt offers a more diverse world than ever before as you traverse between hubs, embarking on ambitious jobs. Contracts in Citizen Sleeper 2 require careful preparation and adaptability to navigate the twists and turns of high-stakes tasks. Alongside your initial crewmate, Serafin, you’ll need to recruit scrappers, engineers, and other specialists. Each of them comes with their own unique stories and skills, so choose wisely. The jobs you undertake will take you far beyond the Belt’s bustling hubs, leading to perilous explorations and high-stakes heists.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is brought to life by Gareth Damian Martin, an accomplished game developer known for his award-winning work, alongside a talented team including comic artist Guillaume Singelin and composer Amos Roddy. Together, they aim to deliver a sequel that meets the high expectations set by its predecessor. The game will be released in 2025, so Wishlist it to keep up with the latest news.
