It’s been a big year for Yogscast Games, and with their successful titles The Holy Gosh Darn and Dungeons and Degenerate Gamblers, they aren’t slowing down any time soon. Next order of business? Two new titles are available for playtest right now.
Kaya’s Prophecy
First up, from developers Jeremie & Thibaut is Kaya’s Prophecy, the tribal colony sim with a deck building twist. Take a step back to a simpler time, when hunter gatherer societies ruled the world. Spend your days gathering resources, building day and night, and fighting for the survival of your village. Only you can protect the townsfolk from the ire of the village master. Craft your deck carefully. The village master’s temper is a short one and it’s the townsfolk that will pay the price.
Monster Mop Up
The next game coming to playtest is Terahard’s Monster Mop Up, a quirky custodial adventure with tons of cute – though messy, monsters to collect. As the custodian of the Ministry of Monster Concealment it’s up to you to keep the rowdy Ragamuffins away from the human world. But keeping the little mess makers a secret is harder than it sounds. You’ll need to clean up every trace the adorable rascals leave behind – yes, that includes their poop. Take on this janitorial challenge in either single or multiplayer game modes.
Anyone looking to get in on either playtest should head over to Kaya’s Prophecy and Monster Mop Up’s respective Steam store pages and hit the ‘Request Access’ button. You can also check out our coverage on more of Yogscast Games amazing roster here.
