Indie studio Zockrates Laboratories and publisher Phiphen Games have announced the official release date for Ruffy and the Riverside, coming to PC (Steam & Epic Games), PlayStation 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on June 26th. 2025!

Vibrant World With Heart & Soul

Explore the vibrant open world of Riverside as Ruffy, a bear on a mission, save his home from the mischievous Groll, who threatens to destroy the world’s core. Traverse seven distinct regions, each with its own theme, characters, and challenges. Ride hay bales, grind secret skating rails, and uncover hidden areas while collecting coins, butterflies, dreamstones, and adorable Etoi creatures while enjoying the funky tunes of Riverside.

SWAP It Up

The SWAP mechanic lets you manipulate the world in variety of clever ways. Turn stone into wood, transform waterfalls into climbable vines, and more to access new areas . But the fun doesn’t stop in the 3rd dimension. Leap into 2D side-scrolling levels to uncover extra treasure, just make sure to handle any pesky obstacles before jumping in.
