Get ready to soak in a narrative adventure you’ll never forget. Until Then, developed by Polychroma Games and published by Maximum Entertainment is coming to the Nintendo Switch a year after the initial release on June 26th, 2025.
Currently available on PC and PlayStation 5, a release on the Nintendo Switch brings one of the most beloved indie game stories of the past few years to a brand-new audience. It’s no surprise, though, given how well received Until Then has been in the gaming industry since its launch in June of 2024.
A Filipino Coming-of-Age Tale
Step into the shoes of protagonist Mark Borja as he grapples with High School drama, relationships, and a fractured reality. Experience a tale both heartbreaking and exciting as the rain-soaked mystery of Until Then unfolds around Mark and his friends.
The dialogue between Mark and his friends feels like a real group of high school friends with everything to prove. There’s snark and emotional moments in droves, displaying the development between characters masterfully. Make sure you pay close attention to the dialogues, and even the social media feeds in game, as there’s a lot of important information hidden in plain sight.
The Ruling
A catastrophic weather event spelled doom for multiple countries, many of which are still recovering. This event, dubbed “The Ruling” by the news outlets, left The Philippines mostly intact, though no group of people went untouched. So, when the weather presents more strange anomalies as the days progress, the fear of a second Ruling upends everything Mark and his friends have going for them. Casting them into a web of mystery, danger, and attempts to balance their social and educational status.
