The Signal: Stranded on Sirenis

Spiral Up Games to publish THE SIGNAL: Stranded on Sirenis

Spiral Up Games, publishers of such games as Back to the Dawn, Wandering Sword, and Cyber Manhunt 2: New World, has partnered with Canadian developer Goose Byte to publish their first game, THE SIGNAL: Stranded on Sirenis.

In THE SIGNAL: Stranded on Sirenis, players will attempt to survive by crafting and extracting their way across the planet, all while discovering secrets and trying to find the truth for why they’re there.

A pre-alpha playtest for interested players is currently being held and can be accessed via Steam. It includes an hour’s worth of gameplay and will showcase newly revealed game mechanics such as its building system, vehicle customization, research tree, and combat mechanics. Also revealed for the playtest is the game’s map, new art style, and an entirely overhauled and improved UI.

THE SIGNAL: Stranded on Sirenis Features

Unravel The Mystery – Attempt to escape a sentient planet and figure out why you were drawn to it. You might be able to solve it if you survive long enough.

Explore and Survive – You’ll need to scavenge resources, craft, and upgrade your gear to survive.

Extract and Adapt – As the player, you’ll need to try and uncover clues about the planet you’re on. There might also be forces with their own goals tied to the planet. Finding and returning relics is a good way to solve the mystery. Be warned though, doing so may have dire consequences.

Research and Customize – Craft recipes, tools, and equipment to help you survive on this harsh planet. You’ll also be able to craft deadlier weapons to help you survive longer.

Custom Vehicles – Traverse different areas of the planet in customizable vehicles. Areas can range from beautiful and peaceful glades to hellish canyons.

While THE SIGNAL: Stranded on Sirenis doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet. It will be making its way to Steam Early Access soon.
