Overdue Exorcism

Ring in Halloween Early with Overdue Exorcism on October 3

Salix Games and Liquid Crimson are cooking up something spooky with Overdue Exorcism, a one-night-only TTRPG live stream to support the SpecialEffect charity. Taking place on October 3, 2025, this will be a one-night-only TTRPG stream that will include spooky drama, exorcisms, and improvised chaos.

The stream, which will take place on the SpecialEffect Twitch channel, will run from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM BST. In case you don’t live in the BST time zone, you can check and see what time the stream will start in your time zone here. Overdue Exorcism was created specifically for SpecialEffect’s One Special Day charity event.

Overdue Exorcism Cast

Natalie Winter (Lego Star Wars, Astrologaster)will be the one leading the event as the party’s game master. The party Winter will be GMing for includes talented voice actors such as Billie Fulford-Brown (Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Somatic), Dave Jones (Baldur’s Gate III, Alma’s Not Normal), Kathryn Vinclair (Warhammer Soul Arena, Conan Exiles), and Kit Harrison (Genshin Impact). There will also be cameos from special guests, but you’ll need to tune in to the stream to see who they are.

For four hours, you’ll get to watch as these talented VAs bring their ghost characters to life as they try to take down an even worse specter.

Raise Money For Charity While Also Causing Chaos

The Overdue Exorcism fundraising goal is £10,000 ($13.400 USD), and to help achieve it, the stream will feature fundraising milestones to incite chaos as it airs live. Such chaos includes wild accents, musical interludes, and full-blown possession swaps. If that wasn’t enough, there will be viewer-triggered perks as well.

Viewers will be able to cause chili-chocolate chaos with a roulette system, cause dance-offs, and force the voice actors to read either romantic or horror poetry in-character. Every pound raised will ramp up the chaos that could ensue during the stream.

Comms Director at Liquid Crimson, Lauran Carter said: “We’re not here to play it safe – we’re here to summon ghosts, break rules and blow the doors off tabletop streaming. It’s theatre meets games meets rock show – and it’s all for SpecialEffect!”

CEO of Salix Games, Jessica Saunders said: “Let’s all just have some silly spooky fun, whilst doing something for a good cause. We all need a bit of joy in life right now, and this should bring smiles with a minor side of pearl clutching.”

Overdue Exorcism sounds like it’s going to be one heck of a good time, and it’s for a good cause, too.
