Hi, I’m Charlie aka CelestialBeast.

An avid gamer of almost 30 years, after receiving my first NES for Christmas from my Aunt Stella. From wondering if I should touch that Goomba (you shouldn’t) to watching the Alien Ship take off in Tetris, I’ve always been into games that have a story to tell, no matter how you tell it.

In those 30 years, I’ve played every genre at least once. My all-time favorites include Ogre Battle 64, Breath of Fire 3, Paper Mario (the OG), Fallout: New Vegas, and Disgaea.

As a dad and husband, I find myself playing a little bit of everything for various reasons. There’s no game I won’t at least give a fair chance.
