Astra Logical is an indie publisher that focuses on, “Systems and strategy games that don’t hate you.” The company is small, and only recently transitioned from being Astra Games Fund. This past week they’ve added two new members to their team: Claire Barilla as their new Head of Production, and Megan Carriker as Head of Marketing.

Barilla joins the team from Secret Mode and SavePoint. “I joined Astra because they give a shit about building sustainable teams,” says Barilla, “I get to build pipelines and structures which are developer focused and collaborative at their core.

Carriker was most recently Director of Operations for Hooded Horse, although before that she worked at Serenity Forge. On her new role at Astra Logical, Carriker said, “If you’re a developer, we want your games. We are actively signing titles and my days have been filled with brainstorming.”

This fresh-faced publisher will be releasing Rebots, a first-person automation game, later this year. Stay tuned for more about this title and others to come from Astra Logical!
