Indie developers RedBoon have you covered with their debut game Knock on the Coffin Lid. This turn-based, card battler promises a story rich environment where players can shape the world with their decisions in the game. 

Play as one of three different heroes who are brought back to life after being poisoned by an unknown assailant. Journey home to solve your own murder and break the cycle of endless deaths and resurrections, all the while collecting new cards and upgrading existing ones to gain an edge on your opponents. Each hero has their own way of conducting combat, with unique subclasses to further customize gameplay.  

Knock on the Coffin Lid is currently in Early Access on Steam, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. With an overall Steam rating of 8.5 out of 10, early players have praised the game for its immersive atmosphere, branching narrative, and unique medieval-inspired art style.
