Oops, they did it again. By “they,” we mean the government, and by “it,” we mean releasing a disease that transforms an innocent, isolated island in the Mediterranean into a Cronenberg zombie film. Of course, it’s up to you to fix it, because no one has any idea how this could have possibly happened. This is the premise of Vorax, the open-world survival horror game from IndieGala, now in early access on Steam. 

Play as a mercenary sent to investigate the happenings on an isolated, once-tranquil island. Craft tools to build barricades and fences to protect your shelter, set traps for food, and find upgrades for your equipment while gathering clues about the mysterious pathogen that has left the island inhabitants feeling less than friendly. While many trailers highlight the combat, there’s more to Vorax than just skin-deep survival horror mechanics. Experience a dynamic day and night cycle and weather system that add layers of complexity to gameplay. 

Vorax is now available for early access on PC, with IndieGala committed to taking player feedback to improve and enhance the game. The roadmap includes regular updates, new content, and ongoing refinements. Additionally, players can look forward to exploring new key locations, discovering new weapons, and enjoying continued optimizations to gameplay and performance over the coming months.
