ODDADA, The Musical Exploration Game Gets Release Date

Fans of cozy music games rejoice! Development team Sven Ahlgrimm and Mathilde Hoffman have announced the release date for ODDADA. It will be available on August 15th for PC and Mac through the Steam digital store.

ODDADA is a roguelite musical exploration game that offers a cozy environment to play with music and sounds. Experiment with musical machines, collect gadgets, gizmos, and melodic toys, then piece them together, and create musical snippets with the objects available. Each playthrough comes with random machines and pieces to use leading to endless potential soundscapes.

As you progress through the game you will unlock more environments, instruments, and machines. Each unlockable item can greatly influence the overall feel of each level. With time you will be able to create more complex musical snippets with items like metronomes to change the rhythm or tuning forks to alter the wavelength.

At the end of each playthrough you can combine your musical snippets and save them to a custom cassette. With a variety of color and stick options, you can create that fits your new musical masterpiece. Watch your collection of cassettes grow in game and download your favorites to share with others.

ODDADA is a wholesome game with a big idea, eliminating the intimidating learning curve of music creation and pushing players to simply enjoy the creative process. You can Wishlist the game on steam today, and keep it eye out for its debut during the Steam Wholesome Game’s Festival next week.

Players can look forward to ODDADA on August 15th, on Steam for PC and Mac.
