Published by the same-named company, Tabletop Mirror purports to be the one-stop shop for TTRPG homebrewing. Built for homebrewers, game designers, world builders, and the TTRPG community as a whole, Tabletop Mirror is a website of tools developed to assist GMs in creating and organizing their game assets. Compatible with DnD, Pathfinder, White Wolf, Shadowrun, or even you own unique creation; Tabletop Mirror supports full system design.

Beyond Ambitious

Some of the tools that Tabletop Mirror supports include a powerful rules editor, a comprehensive management tool for tracking your items and systems, map drawing tool to cover the large and small scale, and fully modular character sheets. Keep in mind, that these are only some of the assets on offer. If I were to list every single thing Tabletop Mirror wants to accomplish, I would be writing an encyclopedia. And all of this would come with no paywalls and no locked features.

So where can you find this mythical website? Well, Tabletop Mirror is now in Open Beta. The software engineers behind it are currently developing weekly updates to meet the needs of their user base. The current plan over the next 6 months is to introduce a marketplace, where users can monetize and market their created content, a “matchmaking” feature to introduce GMs to players who want to play their style, as well as integrate Role Gate for play-by-chat gamers.

With a month left on their Backerkit campaign, Tabletop Mirror has already raised over $11,000. That means the website is 400% funded, with plenty of time to keep building momentum. Funders have unlocked even more ambitious goals for this project, including an assets library, official integration support for two more systems in addition to the top nine most popular TTRPGs, and server storage space that allows everyone to create 500+ pages of information for free forever. Undoubtedly funders will unlock the 3D battle grids and the next level of the asset library. It is unclear how far the campaign will go, but there seem to be plans in place even if they hit the $100k mark.
