In Puffin Planes, you take on the role of CEO of a brand new airline. In this casual sandbox strategy game, it’s your job to expand your airline network, upgrade your travel hubs, and make your airline number one in the world. You can unlock new and bigger planes through the tech tree to gain access to overseas travel, play multiplayer games with your friends, and even access a terraformed Mars map. The game even has a mode that turns the earth and your perspective on its head by flipping the poles. 

This is a Corporate Takeover

This first game by CATINRAIN LLC is simple in appearance, but complex in its strategy and management tools. You only ever have an overview of the planet that you’re playing on, never zooming in on specific locations. However, there are a number of charts and graphs that you use to monitor your company and profits. You can pay attention to them or not, however you want to run your game. However, that aspect of management is actually immersive and feels true to life. It’s what you’d expect out of a real corporate environment.

Puffin Planes is planned for release on September 4th, 2024. While it appears that CATINRAIN LLC has a demo planned to release sometime in the future before the full game release, it doesn’t have a specified date yet.
