This is the first campaign book for the Dragonbane tabletop RPG, coming November 12, 2024. Path of Glory invites you on three classic adventures that have been reimagined and updated with modern flair. Tight and Skill-Based Gameplay

Dragonbane is a fantasy tabletop RPG brimming with magic, mystery, and adventure, representing a modern reimagining of the classic Drakar och Demoner. Dragonbane has garnered wide-spread acclaim since its release in August 2023. It was even voted one of the most anticipated RPGs of the year by EN World. Designed for fast-paced gameplay, Dragonbane requires minimal preparation, making it easy to run adventures that combine humor and challenge. This unique style, described as “mirth and mayhem roleplaying,” is perfect for both extended campaigns and one-shot sessions.

If you’re a dedicated DnD or Pathfinder player, then the pared-down system might take some adjusting. Dragonbane doesn’t level in the same way those adventures do, and actions are more limited. However, this speeds up combat considerably, making it perfect for players who hate waiting half an hour for their turn. Free League Publishing also left many things up to the GM’s interpretation, so there’s room for homebrew rules to make it more your style.

Originally, Path of Glory served as the first major adventure campaign for the Swedish edition of Drakar och Demoner. It was released in three parts between 1985 and 1986, comprising The Dead Forest, Gates of Power, and Heart of Darkness. The modern version features fully updated rules compatible with the latest edition of Dragonbane. Moreover, it includes a large, double-sided map beautifully illustrated by Francesca Baerald.

This new edition, skillfully reimagined by Free League alongside the original author Roger Undhagen, compiles the trilogy into a single full-color hardback book.
