Set in a world ravaged by a mysterious meteor impact, Zeverland immerses you in an ever-changing environment filled with challenges. Navigate a fractured world where survival depends on adapting to the unpredictable fallout of the meteor shower, which releases red spores that infect nearly everything in their path. That includes humans, animals, and even plants. While the majority of life is altered by the infection, a small percentage of humanity remains immune, and it is up to these survivors to navigate the new dangers of their world.

Infection Is Not The End

What sets Zeverland apart from other survival games is its dual-perspective system. Infected players, known as “Zeds,” are not removed from the game but continue to play with new abilities. This offers an entirely different experience and dynamically shifting the gameplay. As an MMO, it also opens up a ton of role-playing opportunities as well.

The world of Zeverland spans a vast 24×24 km map, filled with diverse environments that encourage exploration and experimentation. Players can start in different areas of the map, each with varying levels of infection and resources. This forces you to adjust your strategy depending on your location. The game also features a robust crafting system that allows you to combine virtually any two items to create a variety of useful tools. This often results in some strange, but cool combinations.

The game is further divided into 30-day phases, each representing a season. There’s also changing weather and environmental conditions, all of which affect the challenges you face. These phases also feature group quests where players work together on quests to restore important landmarks or manage the spread of the infection.

Survival of the Fittest

Although the game encourages teamwork and social interaction, alliances are not enforced. Players can form natural connections with others, whether you are human survivors or fellow Zeds. This massively multiplayer experience lets you engage with both friends and strangers, recruit fellow survivors, and build settlements to protect yourselves from the ever-present threats of the world. Zeverland also offers customizable vehicles, allowing you to create your own mobile fortresses, letting you navigate the apocalypse in style.
