Copycat Pounces onto PlayStation and Xbox May 29

After a successful launch on Steam last September, Australian/Ukrainian developer Spoonful of Wonder is bringing Copycat to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 29, 2025. Published by Neverland Entertainment and Nuuvem, this kitty caper delivers a tail—ahem, tale—of love, danger, and typical feline hijinks.

Small Cat, Big Heart

Cozy up with Dawn, a newly adopted house cat, and the nature documentary narrator who follows her through her adventure. After an elaborate plot causes Dawn to lose her place at her new owner’s side to a jealous copycat, she must brave the wild world alone and find her own way home.

From breathtaking national parks to strange, dangerous alleyways, the gorgeous landscapes and Daniel Bunting’s moving score create a vibrant, immersive world for you to explore. As your narrative-driven adventure unfolds, you’ll find yourself pouncing after small prey, getting into scraps with dogs, and, of course, leaving a trail of mischief in your wake everywhere you go.

But it’s not just the world you’ll explore; Copycat takes players on an emotional journey that asks the big questions. What is belonging? What does it mean to have a home? And who do you become without one?

Made with Love from Down Under

Copycat is Spoonful of Wonder’s video game debut. In addition to infusing every little meow with charm and beauty, they’ve poured a lot of love for their Sydney home into the game. With a talented local voice cast and locations inspired by Australia, Copycat brings the warm, sunny world developers Samantha Cable and Kostia Liakhov know to life.

Starting on May 29, you can bring Copycat home on PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S. Retail price is $14.99 USD.
