Xbox fans who have been waiting to play the well-reviewed psychological-horror game KARMA: The Dark World don’t need to wait much longer as it hits Xbox Series X|S September 10, 2025!
KARMA: The Dark World Xbox Trailer
In celebration of KARMA coming to Xbox Series X/S, publisher Wired Productions and developer Pollard Studio released a new trailer. Additionally, to mark the game’s Xbox release, KARMA: The Dark World is getting an exclusive green camera filter when players use photo mode.
Watching the trailer, it’s clear that Pollard Studio was inspired by legendary filmmakers David Lynch (Twin Peaks) and Christopher Nolan (Inception, Interstellar). Lynch’s brand of body horror can be seen in the trailer. Nolan’s trippy style of filmmaking is also apparent. Veteran game developer/director Hideo Kojima (Death Stranding, Metal Gear Solid franchises) also served as inspiration for KARMA.
Blending psychological horror with immersive narrative storytelling, players are challenged to uncover their target’s deepest and darkest thoughts. Released back in late March 2025, the game sits at a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam. Developed in Unreal Engine 5, it offers an intense, atmospheric thrill-ride with great visuals and a haunting story.
KARMA: The Dark World is available now on Steam and PlayStation. It will hit Xbox Series X|S on September 10th! You can Wishlist it now on Xbox.
