Ocean Drive Studio and Kakao Games just announced that their roguelite tactical RPG, Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch, is launching out of early access on PC and consoles on October 9, 2025! A playable demo is currently available for download now on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.

Early Access Success

We first covered Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch when it initially launched into early access on Steam back in April. The game now boasts very positive reception from early players who enjoy the masterful blend of strategic, grid-based tactics similar to titles like Fire Emblem with the dynamic, roguelite structure of games like Hades. That means players must navigate ever changing battlefields, carefully planning their next attacks against deadly cultists and monsters. Success hinges on leveraging past experience, environmental hazards, and powerful elemental interactions.

Shipwrecked But Not Forgotten

The story follows a shipwrecked warrior, plagued by lost memories, who accepts a mysterious witch’s offer to become her champion. This pact sets our hero on a perilous journey across a cursed island to reclaim their past. You won’t always be successful, but death is not the end for you. There are dozens of upgrades to unlock that can be used to aid your future endeavors. Players will enjoy a diverse roster of fighters to recruit and build connections with on their journey.
