Announced today during IGN and ID@Xbox’s Fall 2025 Showcase, Serenity Forge’s latest title is not only cute, but pulls at the heartstrings of any who have had fur babies. Known for their gorgeous visuals and emotional storytelling, Puppergeist looks like it will feel right at home with players.

Down We Go to the Doggie Underworld

Meet Claire, an adorable witch who goes looking for her puppers in the Doggie Underworld, in this rhythmic visual novel. Along the way, she will meet various souls, each with their own story.  Helping her make connections with each soul is Lunne, a sweet little demon friend. By listening to each heartfelt tale and using her sense of rhythm to lift their spirits through unique mini-game challenges, the player will advance Claire’s search for her own lost friend.

Puppergeist is being developed in house with creative direction and art led by NomnomNami, creator of BAD END THEATER.

It will also include guest composers like Kris Wilson, co-creator of Cyanide & Happiness , as well as additional unannounced collaborators. The announcement trailer gives players a taste of what the Doggie Underworld will look and sound like.
