Indie developer Sloth Gloss Games is proud to announce the release of their first full-length game, Steel Century Groove, out now on Steam! Steel Century Groove combines giant robots/mechas and dancing to create a really unique robot rhythm RPG. In Steel Century Groove, you’ll control a young but ambitious pilot who will dance to the beat while also delivering beatdowns via their giant dancing mech.

Beatdown To The Beat In Steel Century Groove

In Steel Century Groove, you’ll take your pilot on a long journey across the country to prove themselves and become the best dancing robot pilot. Along the way, you’ll be challenged by other pilots and build your own dancing robot team. With this being a rhythm-RPG, you’ll be able to improve your skills, attain mods, and upgrade your mech. You’ll also gain different abilities such as dancing drones, critical hits, and counters. Improving your pilot and your mech will be key to defeating other pilots and bosses.

Soundtrack And Features

October Williamson provided the music for Steel Century Groove. Besides the main soundtrack, the game also includes 24 copyright-friendly tracks, making it safe for streamers to stream the game. The game also features an MP3 import feature if you’d rather import your own music playlist into the game instead.

Boogie Wonderland: Conquer not just the suburbs, but everywhere else, including a snowy amusement park with rideable roller coasters, a vacation spot on the moon, and an ocean-submerged San Francisco.

Can’t Touch This: Recruit a squad of dancing giant robots and improve them via leveling, choosing new mods, and obtaining upgrades.

DIY DJ: Import your own MP3 playlist and take part in procedurally-generated charts and dance moves! For the rhythm lovers out there, you can even tweak the BPM and downbeats in the game!

Steel Century Groove is out now on Steam, and until February 11th is 10% off($17.99). Afterwards, it’ll go up to its normal retail price of $19.99.
