Spiderling Studios teased an expansion to their game Besiege. This sandbox style game originally released in 2020 is built on physics and destruction. With a dynamic building system, players have the ability to construct medieval-based war machines, destroying cities or itself. Then, in 2024, they released The Splintered Sea, which added ships and uncertain seas. With this new expansion, players can test their building prowess in The Broken Beyond as they take on space.

Space and Rockets and…Gravity?

With the addition of a space-based campaign, players gain access to travel to far worlds and wreak havoc on new lands. In addition, with new space blocks, players can expand their destruction to outer and alien worlds. 

Players must also navigate gravitational mechanics, creating new physical challenges players must navigate. They are tasked with creating the perfect build capable of escaping planetary atmospheres and surviving the final frontier. Further, a newly developed sandbox exists to test these creative designs with a moon-like atmosphere; a location players can stay in or leave, assuming they can construct the proper escape.
