28 Games Later: A Horror Showcase

28 Games Later: A Horror Showcase To Debut On October 1st

Horror is a dominant genre in our world. If you’ve paid attention to the recent global box office, you’ll know that indie horror has dominated in recent weeks. In the gaming space, horror is just as prominent, and so, when Insider Gaming did a special gaming showcase last month and realized that over 30% of the submissions they got were from the horror genre, they realized they needed to do something special. Thus, they have announced 28 Games Later: A Horror Showcase, which will debut on October 1st. You can watch it on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and other locations when the time comes.

Naturally, the Insider Gaming team was amazed by the submissions and thus wanted to do more with them:

“The response to our first showcase exceeded our expectations, and we wanted to do something special for a genre that millions of gamers love,” said Mike Straw, executive editor at Insider Gaming. “Developers are making a lot of great horror games, and 28 Games Later gives those teams a place to showcase their work and connect with players around the world.”

Arguably, the best part is that if YOU are a game dev and want to submit your title to the showcase, you have that option! Submissions are open right now! Check out the submissions page for rules, so you can know if you’re able to put your game up to be shown. The page will allow submissions until July 17th.

Not only will the showcase feature trailers, but Insider Gaming will do some in-depth coverage of certain titles, such as those that have demos, so you can see more about what horror and suspense titles are on the way.
