Closed Beta Testing Launches for God Save Birmingham

Since their closed Alpha test in February, developers at Ocean Drive Studio, along with publisher Kakao Games have made every effort to put in the changes their testers have suggested. Now, with the launch of the God Save Birmingham Beta Test looming on the horizon, they can’t help but share just a glimpse into what they now have to offer.

Some of that being just a smidge of chaos that comes with survival RPGs. Including but not limited to weapons, chickens, alcohol, and FIRE. Did I mention more weapons?

Not only are enemies a little bit sturdier, but your survival doesn’t just hang in the balance of combat. Depending on the decisions made by the player, something as simple as lighting a fire in your home to survive the harsh winter that can now bear down on you in their game can very well lead to detrimental consequences.

That being said, don’t think the dev team is letting the sheer volume of this game could be turn into something that gets out of hand. One thing that they’ve made certain of is that they won’t let the what-ifs change what they have in the form of their work.

“While the team would love to include and showcase more features in the game, we believe that making things well is more important than making a lot,” said production director Soonook Shin.“ Therefore, we intend to focus on creating a great game by continuously developing, testing, and refining content.”

The team has said that if anyone has an interest in being a part of their Closer Beta Test, starting today, June 22, and ending June 29, follow the steps on their Steam page.
