When certain video games get made, there needs to be “tests” on “larger scales” than what certain Quality Assurance departments can handle. For example, when doing things like “team shooters,” it’s best to bring in gamers from all over the world to ensure that things hold up, the servers don’t die, and no unexpected bugs happen during gameplay. The upcoming team survival shooter Time Takers from Mistil Games and NC is getting ready for its second global beta test on Steam this Friday.

How does one become part of the beta? First, you have to go to the official Discord channel. Then, go to the main channel within the Discord channel and follow the instructions that are there. You can even get a special reward if you invite a friend to the event.

The test itself will last until the 28th, and each play session will be 13 hours on those days.

But what is Time Takers about? The team broke it down as such:

“New players will experience Mistil Games’ distinctive 3v3 third-person shooter where time is the ultimate asset. Players use time to restore health, gain power and can even be used as a last resort to get out of some of the most difficult situations. Across a variety of time-fractured battlefields, players collect “Time Energy” to upgrade abilities in real-time to outlast opponents in stylish, high-speed, tactical combat. Adapt or run out of time.”
