ExeKiller To Be Published By 505 Games

Look, making video games isn’t easy. Anyone who says it is…is likely lying, or doesn’t mind doing all the games themselves. Sometimes, developers can get most of the way with game creation, but they need extra help getting over the finish line. In the case of Paradark Studio, they have officially teamed up with 505 Games to release their upcoming post-apocalyptic 3D shooter, ExeKiller, on Steam.

The game isn’t just set in a gritty version of a futuristic America, but one where your choices will heavily affect the game’s narrative. In a press release, the teams described the title as such:

“ExeKiller is a single-player action-adventure retro-futuristic western that places narrative, player choice, and consequence at the heart of its experience. Set in a post-apocalyptic America, where futuristic technology collides with a desertified world in despair, the player takes the role of bounty hunter, Denzel Fenix, the eponymous ExeKiller, and invites players into a world shaped by scarcity, survival, and difficult decisions. Through exploration, combat, investigation, and dialogue, players will
forge their own path across a harsh and unpredictable frontier.”

Here’s a trailer that shows you some of the gameplay experiences you’ll have:

The game is meant to have a lot of depth, including giving you the chance to talk and fight at the same time to ensure that all options are available to you at any point in time. Add that to a unique world with an assortment of characters to bond with or fight, and you’ll likely want to try out different methods of getting through the game to see what you might have missed before.

Despite the publisher announcement, ExeKiller doesn’t have a release date as of yet.
