Mage Food Truck Gets Special Swampy Update

Card games have been VERY popular in the gaming space recently, including some big-time titles giving it a try, and some even getting “Game Of The Year” nominations for their efforts. So, if that’s your style, then you’ll want to give Mage Food Truck by One Man Left Studios a try. The game puts you in a world where you’ll do roguelike runs throughout realms filled with dangerous monsters…and hungry people…and build up a culinary deck to sort out their food-drive woes. Think fast, and use your cards wisely to get the 3-Star reviews you deserve. Each run lasts about 45 minutes, meaning that it’s perfect for “short bursts” when you only have so much time to do gaming.

Today, the man behind the game, Adam Stewart, revealed that the Short Order Swamp update has gone live. It brings a new area for gamers to have fun in, new cards to try, and even ties to a certain main character:

Short Order Swamp takes players to the chef’s home realm of Wetfoot, land of the Cro’ako frog people. You’ll brave new threats like demopigeons and fishy pirates, master new item cards, and discover creative ways to eat bugs. Different from the other entrées, SOS focuses on simple recipes, cooked fast and delivered back-to-back for gold multipliers and MASSIVE high scores.”

Here’s a trailer to spotlight what you can expect in the update:

Mage Food Truck is available on Steam for $9.99, and there’s also a demo to try out, should you want to get an “appetizer” before diving into the main course.
