Why are “dinosaur park management games” booming right now? Well, probably because so many teams are trying to make these games, and make each one special. Prehistoric Kingdom is one such title, and the teams at Blue Meridian and Crytivo have been slowly building up their title on Steam Early Access to ensure that its content is as robust and crisp as possible. To that end, the teams have announced that Update 17 is available now on Steam.
What does the update offer? As noted in a press release, it brings both a new set of dinosaurs and new features to the game to flesh things out further:
“The headline feature is dynamic combat and hunting. Animals can now fight, defend themselves, and use opportunistic attacks when threats appear in their environment. Carnivorous pack hunters can stalk together as hunting parties, whilev animals caught in combat may be knocked down, tripped, or forced to flee. Some species can also trigger special partner animations, creating more varied encounters inside your enclosures.”
Plus, the dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures will now react to the seasons that are unfolding around them, which is accurate to how animals act in the present age. More refinement has also been added to the human and management side of things, and you can get a glimpse of that via the trailer below:
Prehistoric Kingdom is available at a discount, thanks to the new update, and you can get it on Steam for $20.99.
