Also, if you were hoping the game would help automate things a bit more, so you could focus on the more cozy vibes of the title, new options have been brought in via the update to do just that. For example, as noted in the press release about the update:

“A new purchasing upgrade can automatically order fuel and goods, while recruitable kitten miners assist with checkout, warehouse work, and deliveries.”
