Right now, there is a lot of uncertainty in the gaming space, especially when it comes to consoles, certain publishers, and the industry’s overall future. So, it’s nice to get some good news about popular games, such as the title Absolum, the 2D side-scrolling beat’em up roguelite title that dropped on console and Steam last year and has been getting rave reviews ever since. The teams at Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, and Supamonks have been celebrating their victory with the release, and now, are prepped to take things one step further. They’re teaming with Silver Lining Interactive to release a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.

Oh, but as the link above shows, it’s not just a release on the Switch 2, but a physical release of the title. The whole game will be on a cartridge, which means you truly own the game…which has been a point of some contention with certain pieces of news recently, right, Rockstar?

If that’s not enough, there’s also a Special Edition of the game that is available now for PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Said special edition contains pins, special artwork, and even trading cards!
