A new puzzle-adventure is ready for release from Badass Mongoose, and they’re aching to share it with you. Helix: Descent N Ascent is a monochromatic work of art draws its inspiration not only from the 80s with their black-and-white comics, but also from multiple other sources, including 90s manga. Including music from none other than Jim Guthrie, whose work you can also find in Sword and Sorcery, Nobody Saves the World, and Below. He’s known for creating works for a journey to remember. Helix: Descent N Ascent is proving to be no different. 

Within the forgotten world of Helix, take a non-violent twist on this tale. Throughout it, the player relies solely on their wits, solving puzzles and exploring. The developer decided to take the player on a journey of discovery rather than battle. As the player advances, they find new abilities that will help them not only learn more about themselves but also unravel the mysteries of a lost world.

Journey through Helix and uncover these hidden mysteries. Learn the truth and find hidden pieces of yourself and the world that one is often scared to face. Through it all, you’ll learn that one does not often need words to tell a story; sometimes all you need is yourself.
