MineGeon: Renegades Gets Official Delay

There’s been a lot of “not great” news stories coming out of the gaming woodwork this week, and we hate to add to that, but we need to tell you about a delay to a certain Steam game you might have been looking forward to. Kickstone Studios revealed that its upcoming sci-fi co-op shooter MineGeon: Renegades has been pushed back a few weeks. So, instead of launching on July 14th, it’ll launch on July 28th.

Not the biggest of delays, but no one WANTS to have a game delayed, as it means we have to wait longer. As for WHY the team is delaying it, that would be because of feedback that the team got during Steam Next Fest. They had a demo come out during the event, and the feedback had them realizing they had some tweaking to do before the game’s launch. You have to respect them wanting to take their time with things to ensure that gamers get the best experience upon arrival.

As for what MineGeon: Renegades is, here’s the synopsis and a trailer:

“In this sci-fi co-op, descend deep into the layers of the mysterious planet PAIMO with your team of Renegades as you mine for riches, fight off the persistent Scavengers, and unearth the secrets hidden below the surface. The team is taking the time to incorporate feedback from the recent Steam Next Fest demo and further refine the game, ensuring the most polished experience for players.”

With multiple Renegades to choose from, plenty of builds to create devastating attacks from, and a deep world to dive into, you and your friends will have no issue having fun with each run when the game drops on July 28th.
