Greek Mythology has gotten a LOT of use in the gaming space over the last several decades, as both AAA titles and indie games have put their own spin on the legendary pantheon and the stories told within it to craft special games. Soon, a new twist on things will happen in the form of Oh Apollo! The game puts you in the role of an Oracle, where you’ll “shape the future” via the prophecies you create, but it’s a little more complicated than it “should be…”
The team behind the title, Blue Backpack, has not only given an update on the demo for the game, but also helped further break down what you’ll be doing by showing off a trailer:
“As the new priestess at the temple in Delphi, Pythia, your job is to decipher the cryptically sassy prophecies of the Sun God Apollo. Written by Cyrus Nemati (Vampire Therapist), this updated demo now lasts an additional in-game week and
includes six new characters, a new location, more decorations for your home, a revised shop UI layout, and more.”
The more you do, the more options you’ll have in this Greek-style cozy simulator. You can decorate the temple, make friends with humans or gods, and see just how the world will grow, or devolve, depending on the prophecies you make. Think you’re up to the challenge?
