Steam Early Access continues to be a haven for indie game development, as it allows players the chance to try out titles and work with the dev teams to figure out issues before the full launch happens. RedSaw Games Studio and Logoi Games did just that with their post-apocalyptic farming simulator Doloc Town, and have earned a lot of “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam as a result. Today, the team revealed in a press release that they’ll be dropping version 1.0 of their cozy title on August 6th!
For those unfamiliar with the casual farming game, here’s a nice synopsis:
“Set in a vibrant yet crumbling world, Doloc Town invites players to start from scratch, rebuild civilization one crop at a time, and uncover the mysteries buried beneath the ruins. Players farm, craft, and build in a post-apocalyptic landscape where acid rain and scorching heat threaten their crops, explore dangerous wilderness with customizable drone companions, and form bonds with the quirky townspeople of a community fighting to survive. With its hand-drawn pixel-art visuals blending the cozy charm of Stardew Valley with the grit of a world in decay, Doloc Town offers a farming adventure unlike any other.”
