You don’t typically get to hear a lot of “flexes” from the indie game space unless a title sells a LOT of units. Or, is heralded as one of the “best games of the year.” When that happens, it truly means something. However, there are other ways to “flex,” including having your game get a demo displayed at a popular location for people to try out. Say, oh, Universal Studios Resort? Today, developer Cygnus Cross revealed that its upcoming isometric Action RPG Emberville will be playable at GCX on July 24th-25th, which just happens to be at the famous resort.

The game itself is set to arrive later this year, but the demo, as a press release notes, will have those at GCX excited about what’s to come:

“Emberville’s demo oozes charm, and the team is thrilled to be showing it off in person for the first time. The game goes beyond the conventional expectations of similar “farm & fight’’ games, with a simple-yet-deep combat system, an inherited skill leveling system, and challenging boss fights, and the new gameplay trailer offers players a glimpse of what to expect. Emberville also features a stellar voice cast, including Alex Jordan (The Alters, Cyberpunk 2077, Dragon Age: The Veilguard), Doug Cockle (The Witcher, The Alters), Abubakar Salim (Assassin’s Creed: Origins, House of the Dragon), Amelia Tyler (Baldur’s Gate 3, Hades II, Warframe), and more!”

So, if you happen to be at or around GCX later this month, you might want to give this demo a try.
