Games where you can control monsters come in all shapes and sizes, not unlike the monsters themselves. Luminas: Parasite Reign by SOTO Game Studio is one such title, as it’s trying to be a “Party RPG” mixed with bullet hell and roguelite elements, and it’s getting ready to drop on Steam Early Access on July 24th.

“Welcome to the voxel world of Luminas: Parasite Reign, a party-based roguelite where the key to survival is strategy. Control up to three unique Luminas, magical beings fighting back against the monstrous Parasites corrupting the world of Solaris Land. With waves of enemies, epic boss battles, and evolving abilities, every run is a fight for survival and a chance to grow stronger.”

Luminas: Parasite Reign gives you multiple options for the Luminas that’ll be in your party; as you would expect, each has different skills, abilities, elemental affinities, and so on. As if that’s not enough, you can unleash special combos if you have the right monsters in your crew; your Luminas can evolve into stronger forms (which sounds familiar…) and so on.

You’ll have eight Luminas to start with in the Early Access Build, and get to take them across three maps. So, when July 24th rolls around, be ready to jump into the fight!
