Mythology is a common backbone in many gaming titles, including very recent ones and titles we’ll see coming out in the next year or so. Indie developers are not immune to the allure of this, as the teams from Acclaim and Potato Kid are about to drop the beta for their mythological fighting game Talaka.

According to a press release from the teams, the closed beta will give…

“Players an early look at this fast-paced, combat-driven roguelite that brings Afro-Brazilian mythology to life in a vivid, hand-painted world.”

Registration for the closed beta can be found on the team’s Discord server, and you can sign up until the 16th. Then, the beta itself will run from the 16th to the 30th.
