Greek Mythology has been getting a LOT of use in media recently, including multiple adaptations based on past and present tales of Greek lore, mixed in with some fresh takes on stuff, of course. Case in point, check out what Dark Point Games has been doing with Achilles: Legends Untold and Achilles: Survivor. These games focus on the Greek hero and put you in incredible battles in an Action RPG meets Soulslike experience. However, with a certain “Odyssey” about to be reborn on movie screens, the team decided to up the ante by bringing a different Greek legend to life in the two titles via free content updates:
“The free DLC introduces Odysseus, King of Ithaca, as a brand-new playable survivor. A highly mobile Marksman built for players who favor ranged combat, Odysseus excels at careful positioning, precision attacks, and outsmarting enemies before they can strike.
Known across Greek mythology for his sharp mind, the Trojan Horse, and a rather eventful journey home, Odysseus brings those same traits into battle. His signature power, Odysseus’s Bow, fires a devastating triple-shot barrage capable of shredding any enemies foolish enough to stand directly ahead. His talent, Marksman’s Trap, rewards movement by allowing him to deploy rotating arrows turrets that punish pursuers and control the battlefield.”

Given that you can get the two games on both Steam and on consoles, and with a discount no less, and you’re getting free DLC to boot, this might be your opportunity to see what these games are offering.
Just remember to protect your heels, okay?
