Cozy Cyberpunk Title Midnight Moments Arrives on July 30th

Video games can be whatever you want them to be at times, including not being so much about “gameplay” as they are about “experiences.” For the team at Happy Volcano, that’s exactly what they wanted when they made their upcoming “cozy cyberpunk” title Midnight Moments. In this atmospheric diorama game, you’re simply trying to make things happen, and then see what happens after you make them. The game will arrive on Steam on July 30th, and you can see more about the game below:

“In Midnight Moments, players create cozy backstreets, glowing apartment blocks, and entire neighborhood corners before
decorating them with handcrafted props and citizens. Every diorama is designed to feel like a living place, whether it’s a quiet rooftop garden, a bustling alleyway, or a lone convenience store glowing in the rain.

Rather than chasing objectives or optimizing the perfect build, Midnight Moments is all about slowing down. There are no timers, no fail states, and no pressure. Just the simple pleasure of creating a space, watching it come alive, and soaking in the atmosphere. It’s the perfect game to relax with alongside your favourite podcast or playlist.”

You have to admit, this doesn’t look or play like many other games you’ve been enjoying recently, right? That might make it the perfect title for you to enjoy when the game drops later this month. Other features include:

  • Create beautiful cyberpunk dioramas inspired by cozy lofi cityscapes
  • Stack buildings and shape anything from a single storefront to an entire neighbourhood block
  • Decorate every scene with handcrafted props and place citizens to tell your own stories
  • Relax with a pressure-free sandbox experience featuring no objectives or timers
  • Zoom in to admire every detail as rain falls across glowing neon streets
  • Designed as the perfect companion game for podcasts, music, and winding down
