The team at Old Oak Games is doing so with its upcoming survival-horror tabletop RPG, Ink Ribbon.

The campaign won’t launch until September; however, the team dropped a special “Quick Start Demo” for you to try out today via the link above. The Quick Start Demo includes the following things:

• The complete Ink Ribbon Rules
• A full scenario that lets you explore a police station overrun by zombies
• (good for 4-5 sessions of play!)
• Pre gens, maps, and handouts!

As for what the game is about, here’s a synopsis for you:

“Ink Ribbon is a tabletop RPG that captures the feel of classic survival horror video games. It puts you in the shoes of everyday people (or a rookie cop having the worst first day in history) as you try to survive a zombie apocalypse caused by a shady pharmaceutical company. You’ll need to manage your inventory, keep an eye on your ammo, search for healing herbs, and face down rotting zombies and terrifying bio-weapons — all while trying to escape a doomed city that is just hours away from being nuked out of existence.”
