When it comes to indie games, some teams can do everything on their own. But sometimes, they need a little help getting things finished, or just straight-up published on as many systems as possible. To that end, Elysium Game Studio has revealed that its upcoming detective title, Neo Berlin 2087, has gotten a publisher in the form of ByteRockers Games!

“NEO BERLIN 2087 is not an open-world RPG, but rather a deeply focused, atmospheric cyberpunk detective thriller. While the title offers players choices in player dialogue and tactical playstyles, the experience features linear, handcrafted level designs built around a fixed, suspenseful thriller plot. Switching seamlessly between first- and third-person views, the players can decide between a stealthy approach or a frontal confrontation with guns blazing. The team is dedicated to delivering a polished, emotionally resonant indie adventure, rather than an unfeasible AAA sandbox.”

The extra good news here is that the upcoming GamesCom 2026 event will feature even deeper looks at Neo Berlin 2087, as well as other titles from the “ByteRockers Universe.” Stay tuned!
