The debate between digital and physical games isn’t likely to end anytime soon. As such, it’s up to groups like Super Rare Games to try to “keep the balance” by offering physical copies for indie titles that might not have gotten physical copies otherwise. One such game is Little Misfortune, the psychological horror title from Killmonday Games that you can get digitally on Steam right now. The game came out in 2019, but as noted by the special publisher, physical copies will drop on the Nintendo Switch on the 23rd!
The catch? Like most “limited runs” of games like these, there will only be a set amount of copies available. In this case, that would be 6000. So, go to their store and get your copy pre-ordered before there are none left! As for what the game is about, here’s the synopsis:
“Little Misfortune is an interactive story, focused on exploration and characters, both sweet and dark, where your choices have consequences.
Starring Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez, an imaginative 8-year- old, who seeks the prize of Eternal Happiness, as a gift to her Mommy. Led by her new friend, Mr. Voice, they venture into the woods, where mysteries are unraveled and a little bit of bad luck unfolds.”
But wait, there’s more! If you didn’t know, the game also shares a universe with Fran Bow, and Super Rare Games has announced a contest to get a special Fran Blow Plaque! Here are the details:
“Purchase Little Misfortune Standard Edition or PB#48 before midnight (BST) on 23rd July to be automatically entered.
The lucky winner will be contacted on 27th July via the email address used for their purchase!”
And…go!
