For many, working from home seemed like an “impossible feat,” outside of specific job areas. However, it’s actually a pretty welcome part of society nowadays. However, what would happen if you…were a worm? That’s the funny question that Worming from Home asks you! The title from solo developers Zach Northrop and Mason Sabharwal has you full-on being a worm, and then using physics and a bit of luck to worm your way around your work desk so you can get tasks done.
The crazy job simulator title will drop on Steam on September 4th, and you can find out more about the game below:
“Wriggle your way up the corporate ladder in Worming from Home, the job sim where you’re secretly a worm! Throw your spineless body around the desk, bashing your head against the keys to answer emails and fill out spreadsheets, on your quest to earn that big promotion!
Spend your free time getting swole in the gym, reading the latest self-help books, shopping for trinkets, or messaging your office crush. Complete mini-games to unlock and buy upgrades that’ll make you become the Worm of Wall Street!”
Who knew a worm could be so proactive, right? The team has gone truly in-depth to make Worming From Home a success, and that’s why its features are just as robust as the game’s protagonist:
- IMMERSIVE WORM ACTION: Soar across your desk like a real life worm!
- NO JOB TOO BIG: Take calls, fill in spreadsheets, brew coffee, and more!
- WORM-LIFE BALANCE: Read self-help books, workout, and DM your colleagues!
- THE WORM OF WALL STREET: Upgrade your skills and earn that big promotion!
Arguably the best part of things is that if you want to test things out before the September release, the game has a demo you can play right now.
